22 Apr Design Trend: Interior Cladding
Cladding has been around for a long time as a solution for external facades. It’s a great way to avoid getting walls damaged by the elements and also for aesthetic purposes.
Interior cladding, however, is a rising design trend that is starting to move into homes, no longer just commercial buildings.
Cladding can add a luxury element to any room, but that isn’t the only benefit you can get from it. It can also add depth and texture, making the room seem larger than it actually is.
We chose a few examples to inspire you today:
Recycled and brushed hardwood, by Virginia Kerridge Architects
Wire-brushed ironbark cladding in bathroom, by Century Stone.
Fused bronze cladding by Aegis Infrasolutions.
And there you have it! These are a few examples of how wall cladding can be used to enhance homes of all styles.
